Oulton Park’s signature Historic Gold Cup returns with a full weekend’s action devoted to motor racing’s past in July, and a special celebration of the Gold Cup's 70th anniversary! The meeting will feature an eclectic retro race programme, overseen by the Historic Sports Car Club (HSCC), with several special guest series in attendance too.

This year’s HSCC offering will include Historic Formula 3, Historic Formula Junior and the Derek Bell Trophy for powerful 1970s single-seaters. Special guest categories include the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association, Motor Racing Legends Touring Car Challenge, Cooper 500 Owners Association, CSCC Special Saloons and Modsports, Ferrari Club Classic and the Vintage Sports-Car Club.

The traditional summer fixture will be much more than a race event, with an extensive off-track show to put visitors in a retro mood. Car displays, retro music and more will add to the distinct flavour of this key social fixture on Cheshire’s automotive calendar.

=Old Hall

=Lodge

£10.00

Lodge

One of the slowest corners on the track, you’ll see plenty of passing attempts as the field heads out of the fast Druids corner and down the long straight. It’s also the final corner on the circuit, and the scene of many last lap dramas.
